For Suso -- a photo-illustration of how to know when radishes are ready to harvest. This one? It's ready.

This one? Not quite ready.
A good rule of thumb for me is that I can pretty much pick any radishes about four weeks after they're planted, even if they're not poking out of the ground. If they are poking out of the ground, it will be obvious when they are ready.
